I see the usuals are claiming The Usual Things about some lib being arrested.
You guys never learn. There's always video. And now it comes out literally minutes after the lying starts.
https://x.com/TriciaOhio/status/193324895426074639...That's Padilla putting his hands on officers after he charged in there towards Noem. He's lucky they didn't Taser his nuts off.

That video clearly shows the senator being pushed and shoved by federal agents.
Get your eyes examined, buddy.

https://www.nbcnews.com/video/sen-alex-padilla-for...Your video has edited out the beginning where he identifies himself as Senator Padilla and Noem’s thugs grab him and start pushing him out of the room, after which they lied and said they did not know who he was.
Lying is a core value for the Trump Cult.

Well of course. One would expect nothing less from the federal agents. It’s their job.
That idiotic senator was not wearing a suit, just scruffy street clothes. He was not
wearing his Senator badge, he did not identity him self, no one recognized him or knew who he was.
The senator was pushing and forcefully trying to lunge his way into the DHS newser shouting I have
a question.
What was this unrecognized guy trying to do? Did he have a weapon on him?
The federal agents reaction was of course to subdued him.
The whole episode was a stunt by the senator.

Yup. Not only that, but the second DHS security tells him to stop, he's supposed to stop. Instead this clown starts pushing forward.
Know what that's called? Assault on a federal law enforcement officer.
He's damn lucky that Kristi Noem decided to be cool about it otherwise it would be off to the clink.
But look at how the left is reacting: OF COURSE the guy with the [d] after his name should be able to lay hands on a cop. It's their right!

He was escorted upon entering the building by a member of the National Guard and an FBI agent. And, in fact, he did identify himself.
The video from the Thursday press conference in Los Angeles shows Padilla identifying himself as a U.S. senator, walking forward and saying that he wanted to ask Noem a question. The California Democrat was then pushed by security through the door of the room, taken to the ground and handcuffed. LurkerMom:
The senator was pushing and forcefully trying to lunge his way into the DHS newser...Also false. Either you're misinformed or you're lying.
Senator Lisa Murkowski:
“I’ve seen that one clip. It’s horrible. It is — it is shocking at every level. It’s not the America I know.” Republicans applaud Mad King Donald's Gestapo assaulting a United States Senator who had the nerve to raise his voice to ask a question and at the same time celebrate Mad King Donald's attempt to remove elected state officials from office and pardoning felons and terrorists who violently stormed the Capitol, beat police officers with clubs, attacked them with bear spray and mace, and smeared their feces on the buildings interior walls.
You support a criminal regime.

It was a federal office building.
1) Padilla had to show ID to get in the building.
2) Padilla had to go through a metal detector to enter the building.
3) Padilla was constantly escorted around the building, including to the presser, by federal agents.
4) Padilla clearly (watch the full video) identified himself by name and title
5) Padilla was handcuffed and wasn’t told what crime he committed (is asking a question a crime now?) by federal agents who refused to identify themselves.
6) Padilla never even got close to Noem.
You got nothing correct.
The whole episode was a stunt by the senator.
It was a stunt all right. To distract from the fact that Trump didn’t end the Russia invasion of Ukraine on day 1 nor did he end the fighting in the Middle East.

Wow. You and LM are repeating the lie with full knowledge that it is a lie even after you have been shown the full clip proving that you are lying.
Amazing.

As compared to what Homeland Security Barbie was wearing?? LOL
(PS: I'm replying via commonone's post because I grayed out LM ages ago. But I thank LM for the morning chuckle.)

They can't deal with the cognitive dissonance otherwise.

Baloney. Why were they not escorting him right up to the DHS Newser in an orderly fashion.
Where were the National Guard and the FBI then? Why was the senator forcefully trying to
enter the Newser and shouting I have a question and the Federal agents pushing him back
from entering the room? The agents did not know who this guy was.
Yep, this was a stunt for publicity.
Also false. Either you're misinformed or you're lying.
Nah, your Trump Derangement Syndrome has your brain befuddled and your dem masters have control of you.
Get help.
Senator Lisa Murkowski: “I’ve seen that one clip. It’s horrible. It is — it is shocking at every level. It’s not the America I know.”

LOL, yep..
This confrontation was planned/orchestrated by the Left thinking it would help them with public opinion/approval.
Normal Americas are cheering the Federal Agents who quickly took this idiot senator down who thought he could bulldoze his way in, take control of the meeting with moronic talking points fed to him by his dem masters.

Notice how these folks assume they speak for “normal Americans”? Even though polls show that Americans reject their policies by margins that are increasing, not decreasing?
The more they are driven into the minority, the more they caterwaul about how they represent “normal Americans”, and the more they characterize everyone else as unhinged and disloyal to the criminal regime they continue to defend.

Keep these 'mobilizing passions' of fascism in mind. Dope seems to want to check all the boxes.
Paxton has a series of bullet points outlining what he calls fascism’s “mobilizing passions.”
A sense of overwhelming crisis beyond the reach of any traditional solutions;
The primacy of the group, toward which one has duties superior to every right, whether individual or universal, and the subordination of the individual to it;
The belief that one’s group is a victim, a sentiment that justifies any action, without legal or moral limits, against its enemies, both internal and external;
Dread of the group’s decline under the corrosive effective of individualistic liberalism, class conflict, and alien influences;
The need for closer integration of a purer community, by consent if possible, or by exclusionary violence if necessary;
The need for authority by natural chiefs (always male), culminating in a national chieftain who alone is capable incarnating the group’s historical destiny;
The superiority of the leader’s instincts over abstract and universal reason;
The beauty of violence and the efficacy of will, when they are devoted to a group’s success.

Dope: blah blah...tried to rationalize the unwarranted assault on the senator.
I’m sorry, but there’s nothing funny to be said about the fuckface goons who threw a United States Senator to the ground, handcuffed him and carted him away because had the temerity to ask ICE Barbie a question.
fuck everyone involved in perpetrating this travesty of justice, and fuck every Republican who is out there right now, trying to justify this fascist bullshit by explaining that Senator Padilla got what he deserved because blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
and fuck House Speaker Limpdick for calling for Padilla to be censured. for what, you grandstanding performative nonsense jackass?
shut the fuck up. we’re not in the mood. Tiedrich
