WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has declared drug cartels to be unlawful combatants and says the United States is now in a “non-international armed conflict,” according to a Donald Trump administration memo obtained by The Associated Press on Thursday, following recent U.S. strikes on boats in the Caribbean.

He probably would have no problem reallocating the helos that the Coasties use to rescue people from sinking ships, and the Nation Guard uses to rescue people who get in trouble on mountains. After all, Lord Trump is "protecting" us from the BOOGYMAN! Isn't that more important than rescuing people in distress?

I don't believe that'll happen. 1) The pangas are under continuous surveillance. 2) It's very difficult stand up in a fast moving panga unless one is holding on to part of the boat (the center console or gunnwale). A guy would most likely fall down trying to operate a shoulder launcher. 3) If the panga stops to prep the launcher, the boat is still very rolley (narrow, tender deep v hulls).
It's just not gonna be a fair fight.... which is exactly why Kegsbreath and Hump are doing it.
Our military could disable those boats with the .50 cal sniper rifle as we have been doing for years, and arrest the people, then fire the pangas&cargo. Easy peasy.
