If someone appears to be repeatedly personal, lean towards patience as they might not mean offense. If you are sure, however, then do not deepen the problem by being negative; instead, simply place them on ignore by clicking the unhappy yellow face to the right of their name.

I did officially sign up this year. However, last year I just showed up, grabbed my free biscuit, coffee and orange juice and sat down for the brunch meeting and no one said anything. Really enjoyed the presentation and Q&A. I think they were about 1200 attendees so I would advise to get there may be a half hour early. Dozens of folks were standing up in the back of the banquet room. Funny, I spotted Chris Bloomstran and chatted him up for about five minutes after the brunch and he was very personable.
