If the 'stupid' people in this administration succeed in turning our democracy into a defacto one party system, then I suppose they will feel they have succeeded spectacularly. It IS the goal of the right wing.
The only way this is stopped is if enough of the conservatives reject Trumpism/authoritarianism.
