ucas.com - Statistical releases daily clearing analysis

Undergraduate intake is continuing to zoom up to record levels in the first 2 days of this week. Another 3 weeks of clearing left to go.

International students:

2022: 58330
2023: 58490
2024: 57950
2025: 59840
2026: 62420 and rising!

This number is particularly important for Unite, because international students are not staying at home.

Also, they tend to opt for student flats rather than private letting arrangements.

Unite's total unreserved beds in the current year was about 3000-4000 beds.

So, thousands of extra students that will mostly be taking up PBSA at the last minute, can make quite a difference.

Domestic students:

2022: 426k
2023: 418k
2024: 424k
2025: 435k
2026: 443k and rising!

Again, fantastic news for Unite, I think.

You can check the data at the link above, it gets updated daily. These figures are for today, the last post I wrote was for Friday's numbers.
