1.)They have to spend way more money recruiting. An already broke, dirty, nasty city has to spend more.
2.)They lower standards for officers and cops vis a vis hiring.
3.)They have a less effective force and crime goes up in NYC.And this process, my friend...is exactly what's happening in Seattle right now.
