More correctly, stolen identities of women, mostly in Europe, being used to promote the Trump campaign. Importantly, these don't seem to be connected to the campaign itself. So they're most likely coming from some outside party.

One of the bigger takeaways is that the "verified" check marks on Xhitter are worthless.

Unanswered question: Who is behind these fake accounts?
