I think Biden got COVID when Shumer visited the President in Delaware on Saturday. Shumer apparently had the polling data that Biden's staff had been hiding from him.
Dope has the right idea. We may not have a new Democratic nominee by Monday, but a process will be under way to choose one.
A COVID diagnosis may provide the cover for Biden to step aside for the good of the country and the Party.
