Changing the unicode font for my previously failing post made it escape causing an error!
Because you’re not changing the font, you’re changing the codepoints to others that render similarly.
For example, ‘That’ in regular old ASCII is 0x54 0x68 0x61 0x74. ‘𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕥’ is 0x1D54B 0x1D559 0x1D552 0x1D565.
To naive content filters, That and 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕥 are completely different, unrelated strings. But when rendered into human readable text, they look basically the same. So what your post that got through is showing is that whatever’s filtering posts, it’s just looking for ASCII matches.
