Can someone find the reason for the strange behavior of this URL?

If it is run in GTR1 as an All Variants Report it gives results for the variants 5 thru 1 but nor for the variants 10 thru 6.

If it is run for a Detailed Report it gives results that are all zero.

It is supposed to a 10 stock backtest.

The posted URL broke (shewdm doesn't like parenthesis in URLs). Try saving the gtr1 link as "Save to URL (Compressed)" and repost.

Try running without the cache:

Command line-only options: -nocache

Try running without the cache:

It does not run at all with -nocache.
It will run if it is a 5 stock hold instead of 10. Strange.

I've hit this quite a bit. It mainly appears when I'm doing a lot of exploration around a particular screen idea & occurs when I investigate deeper ranks that the initial exploration runs.

As mentioned it appears that the GTR1 server is selecting / 'hitting' the cache and so finding no data for the 'more equities' part of the runs and so reports a whole lot of zeros. The solution is to usually wait a few days & then continue. I've also started running deeper than I'd initially expect to use a screen & then proceeding with shallower runs - that usually works OK.

And sometimes I've found that the enforced 'break' to deeper exploration is a slight benefit as when I return to the work I get the further benefit of fresher eyes.

The screen runs for me with -nocache . 22 CAGR.

When running without -nocache, I get 0 CAGR and errors in the Backtest Engine Feedback:

Thanks lizgdal for the help with -nocache. I had not used it before this.

I have about 10 screens that were exhibiting this behavior and sometimes -nocache would help and sometimes not. I was experiencing this as late as this morning with GTR1 data as of 20251010. At some point today Robbie updated GTR1 to 20251027 and all the screens ran without -nocache perfectly. The update must clean out all the caches automatically.
