The Senate has unanimously restored $1.1 billion for DC local government that was eliminated. Of course the fact that the majority of Senators have home there and don't want to see their neighborhoods become hellholes probably didn't factor into their decision.

Too bad they don't feel the same about the rest of the country.

The Senate swiftly approved legislation late Friday that would allow the District of Columbia to keep its budget intact, rather than roll back to 2024, fixing a provision that had drawn protests from the mayor and residents warning it would require $1 billion in cuts to services.

The bill passed unanimously, without dissent, and now heads to the House. Lawmakers there are on recess, but expected to consider it when they return in late March.

Funny how White Liberals don't stop for a minute to think that even before this funding was taken, and even after funding is restored---MANY MANY MANY parts of DC were and ARE hellholes.

Liberals only see the white 401K parts of the city as places to be concerned about.

50 years of cultural sabotage----and now they only talk about the neighborhoods where Senators live

Putin. Religion of Peace. Anyone else ----why haven't you stepped up recently, from Georgetown to Germany - - where are you guys?
