A lot of interesting microcaps are in junior resource development companies.
Importantly, there are also plenty of scams! Beware!!
https://www.reuters.com/markets/deals/australias-p... - one that I'd owned for a while was acquired recently. The Athabasca Basin region has some of the highest grade uranium ore bodies. I personally believe that this will be an area of infrastructure investment, and that fuel costs have almost no bearing on overall project considerations or cost of power. I think consolidation is inevitable.
The largest, Cameco, is not a microcap, but independent companies like Nexgen (

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/UEC/) are under $5B USD.
I'm curious if anyone else has take a look at the sector. I have been up and down with it, and seen optimism come and go, but a $1B acquisition is a notable change.
