I think you are confusing that she said something in a previous campaign with something sticking. You have to wait a bit to see if anything sticks. *AND* It has to be something that's worthwhile. You want something to stick that stops the hemorrhaging of voters from your side - Lapsody</I

And I think you are attempting to redefine the meaning of sticking.... rather than "sticking" meaning the accusation that she said it cannot be denied, so it it "sticks" to her, you are adding a new qualifier...

Since you can't refute that she actually said close the ICE detention centers, you are now appending a qualifier that something, while true, only sticks if it reduces the hemorrhage of voters.
