“ALEX PRETTI
NEW VIDEO OF CLASH WITH FEDS DAYS BEFORE DEATH”
SNIP
“The clip starts with Pretti yelling and appearing to spit on the vehicle as federal officers are driving away from the area ... before he brings his foot up and kicks and shatters the rear right tail light, leaving it hanging by cords.

Agents jump out of the SUV and chase Pretti down ... slamming him to the ground while a crowd gathers around them and screams at the agents.”

Inexplicably, after the tense altercation ends and Pretti's able to get back to his feet, agents just let him go ... leaving him on the street corner despite the damage he's done to the vehicle.

A rep for the Pretti family tells TMZ ... they knew about the incident on January 13. The rep says Alex sustained injuries but did not get medical care.”

“The clip starts with Pretti yelling and appearing to spit on the vehicle as federal officers are driving away from the area ... before he brings his foot up and kicks and shatters the rear right tail light, leaving it hanging by cords.

That video ran on the NBC evening news tonight.

Pretti should have been charged with vandalism or malicious damage.

This is what you get in Minnesota for malicious damage, according to the net sifter:

Malicious damage to property in Minnesota, charged under MN Statutes 609.595, is prosecuted as criminal damage to property, with penalties ranging from misdemeanors to felonies based on damage value, bias motivation, or risk of bodily harm. Convictions can result in up to five years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

Levels of Criminal Damage to Property in MN

1st Degree (Felony): Damage over $1,000, causes foreseeable risk of bodily harm, or damages public safety motor vehicles. Penalties include up to 5 years in prison and/or $10,000 in fines.

2nd Degree (Felony): Damage between $500 and $1,000, committed due to bias (race, religion, sex, etc.), or damages public safety property. Penalties include up to 1 year and 1 day in prison and/or $3,000 in fines.

3rd Degree (Gross Misdemeanor): Damage between $500 and $1,000. Penalties include up to 1 year in jail and/or $3,000 in fines.

4th Degree (Misdemeanor): Any other intentional damage to property. Penalties include up to 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.

Key Factors and Considerations

Definition: It must be intentional damage to another’s property without consent.
Aggregation: Damages within a 6-month period can be combined to increase the charge severity.
Restitution: Courts often order restitution to cover repairs or replacement costs for the victim.
Bias Crimes: Damage motivated by bias against protected classes can elevate the charge to a felony

He damaged a law enforcement motor vehicle. He earned a felony conviction, prison time and/or a 4-5 figure fine. I would have no problem with him being prosecuted under the Minnesota statute. *That* is rule of law. But that didn't happen. The troopers dismounted, and beat the crap out of him. *That* is thuggery.

Am I the only person left, who can tell the difference between "right" and "wrong"?

Steve

Well now EVERYONE knows Pretti was not the all caring nurse the left is making him out to be.

The Nightingale Pledge a Nurse pledges in part,
“ The Nightingale Pledge is a statement of the ethics and principles of the nursing profession in the United States, and it is not used outside the US. It included a vow to "abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous" and to "zealously seek to nurse those who are ill wherever they may be and whenever they are in need."

Can one imagine a patient of Pretti’s talking politics and said he supports President Trump?

Which was exactly what he was doing when they pepper-sprayed him, dragged him to the ground and executed him.

Nope. I agree with your analysis.

The right response from the federal agents would have been to detain Pretti, call in the city/county/state police to arrest Pretti and charge him with the property crime he seems to have committed.

Of course, that requires having a good working relationship between the federal and local police forces. That doesn’t seem to be of interest to the Fed goons.

Sure. Your Alzheimer's is showing for all to see.

Rule Changes: The VA updated its medical bylaws to remove specific language that previously barred discrimination based on "politics" and "marital status". The new language focuses on prohibiting discrimination based on "legally protected status".

MAGA is NOT a "legally protected status".

Thus, ALL staff at ALL VA facilities can refuse service to MAGA.

Context: These changes followed an executive order from President Trump in January 2025 regarding gender and federal policy.

Moral/religious objection by staff is PERMITTED per Spankee.

You got what you wanted. MAGA dying faster and faster. Their choice? Or choice by Spankee?

The Minneapolis PD Chief was interviewed for the news a couple days ago. He talked about what a strain his 600 person department is under, trying to do it's normal police work, *and* clean up all the chaos created by the 3,000 Federal agents in the city. Sorting out assault and malicious damage charges between the storm troopers and citizens is probably taking up a lot of department time. That is why the Gov sent in the National Guard. The guardsmen are wearing yellow vests, so they can be identified, as not being storm troopers, and the Guardsmen are supposed to be paired up with Minneapolis PD officers, to provide extra muscle, when needed, while the Police have the arresting authority.
