Pick a god, any god.
"........Given the product's growth rate, once she's able to onboard all the fans who've expressed interest, she estimates she's on track to earn about $5 million a month. The product made more than $100,000 the first week, she said. and there's a waiting list of thousands to gain access."..... CarynAI also shows how AI applications can increase the ability of a single person to reach an audience of thousands in a way that, for users, may feel distinctly personal.https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2023/05/...

What do you mean by that? I see this use of AI primarily as a benefit. It allows dead people to be brought back to life in AI persona form, as well as allowing living people to better "connect" with multitudes of others. Hmm, can AI powered avatars of politicians be that far behind? What better way for an office seeker to cement a personal connection and appeal with voters? I can even see religious confessions to AI "priests", religious sermons voiced by AI preachers, and even AI Jesus proselytizing "The Word".
Come to think of it, I'd love the ability to "converse" with an AI Richard Feynman, or an AI Abraham Lincoln, or an AI Mark Twain. But an AI Hitler, not so much. :-)

Your choices are amusing but, in the end, it's just amusement; a tech-step above the multiple choices one is presented by a 'virtual agent' in the Spectrum Internet chatroom. (What would you like to talk about: New service, Add features, Your account, Tech support, Other?)
The Lincoln side of your chat will reflect what he thought...not what he might think "if."
The Feynman algorithm will not break new ground that real Feynman might.
I doubt that a Linus Pauling AI algorithm would stupidly promote Ivermection as Pauling recommended Hi-Dose VitC for all that ails ya. But maybe it would go off the rails, so to speak, just as Pauling did?
The God AI WILL however, not only amuse, could validate groundless faith in the minds of billions, same as the Hitler AI algorithm.
If an AI panel of the founding fathers could be convened, and one modern element introduced for their consideration (example, an easily affordable/accessible gun that can shoot 500 rounds in a minute) what could that panel possibly offer without the social context in which that element exists?

But such an AI panel would have that social context to draw on since it would have been fed with the content of the entire internet!

As an algorithm processes the internet, can it confirm that which is fact vs that which is fiction?
Could not the algorithm be tweaked such that it gives greater weight to a concept with greater volume or frequency?
To wit, a news story on Fox may typically get, hypothetical only, 50k hair on fire responses to a story. The same story on Politico may only generate 500 ho hum responses. Now the algorithm is tasked with weighting 50k emphatic statements to 500 dismissive responses that assign little import to the topic, whatever it may be.

That "problem" has been solved. First, the programmers behind the AI implement features with the code to down rate sources that contain certain phrases or are correlated with sources that express certain view points. So for example, on a certain controversial topic, one CNN news response may be weighted equally with 50 Fox news responses. Then give the Government, say the FBI, direct input to those controls. Presto, the Ministry of Truth will protect us from wrong think. What could go wrong?

Of course, but all technology can be abused by the ill-intentioned. That doesn't negate the good that can come out of technological advances, the overall trend of which has been for the benefit of humanity. AI will be no different in that respect.
