The closer we get to the midterms and a likely GOP loss in one or both houses, the closer we will get to Trump invoking the Insurrection Act. Trump isn't coy, he tells us what he plans to do. He will force or manufacture some incident as justification. The worst of MAGA will cheer him on. The media will be increasingly garroted and silenced.
That's the nightmare scenario that is possible because the Republican Party has become so corrupt and fascistic. Republicans in Congress are a bunch of castratos. As an example, just look at Lindsey Graham and the way he now kisses Trump's ass; such a disgusting, shameful and sadly typical GOP/MAGA behavior. And his private army of brownshirt goons will do his dirty work.
Listening to Trump's 'speeches' lately, he sounds ever more narcissistic and megalomaniacal. And more demented than ever. But Joe Biden!

And you are not the only one predicting that Dump will declare martial law. As you've suggested before, Trump knows GOP is going to take a beating in the midterms, so just conjure up a reason to not have midterms. And MAGA will not even blink, they'll just lap up whatever bs he spews for an excuse. And fake news Fox and the rest will laud it is a brave, patriotic decision, and that America needs to just totally hand over control of everything to him.

There is a theory about this situation.
1: decide you want to declare martial law in a particular area.
2: send a phalanx of storm troopers into that area, to agitate the locals by rousting and roughing them up.
3: wait for the locals to get fed up enough to push back.
4: use the pushback as the excuse to impose martial law.

...I hope the people who donated to the "go fund me" for the guy who heckled God and Savior Trump, realize that a list of donors to that account will be handed over to the FBI as "suspected terrorists", so they will be investigated, harassed, and their bosses called and told to fire them.
