As usual I realize I am man without country vis a vis politics.
Both sides re owned by Israel.
Difference is one side doesn't like it - the Dems. For now, the Repubs are all about it.
Fine - and I understand and even agree with some of the Repub reasons but......... this Gaza relocation stuff.
Trump won Michigan by less than 100K votes.
He was the FIRST Republican to win Dearborn - heavily Muslim. Granted only by a 2500 vote margin but still.....this constituency can easily go Dem again.
Good luck MAGA and JD in Michigan in 2028 - hope it works out ;)
PS: SHOUT "MY IDEALS!" "MY CONVICTIONS" !! Ok great.
But I hope that stances gets you extra votes.
We'll need them in Michigan.

He’s not being serious and as usual the point he’s making is buried under media coverage stupidity.
What he’s saying is that it’s time for Arab countries to step up and stop treating the Gazans like it’s some kind of refugee camp. It’s not. It should be a functioning thing.
But it’s been convenient for the other states to perpetuate this grievance from 1948 because it was convenient for them…now that Gaza is a smoky ruin, it’s time for them to do something different.

He's right.
BUT, I'm merely talking about winning in a .1% country.
The Pro Israel thing - gets us not one extra vote.
Dearborn - were found votes.
Ditto some of the Doge stuff and Doge desires. The strides we made into traditionally blue constituencies, we might give back.

He's right. And there's already movement in that direction:
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/jord...After meeting with Trump, Jordan's King Abdullah II reiterates 'steadfast opposition' to moving Palestinians out of Gaza
Earlier in the day, Abdullah told Trump he could take in 2,000 Palestinian children from Gaza who are very sick or have cancer. That headline is pure NBC. LOL!
Dearborn - were found votes.
Ditto some of the Doge stuff and Doge desires. The strides we made into traditionally blue constituencies, we might give back. The good news is that Trump has a window where he can do a bunch of stuff early on in his term and people will tend to forget it by the time midterms roll around.
