Kalshi prediction markets currently see a 79% likelihood that U.S. crude oil hits at least $73 per barrel or more.
WTIC opened at 75/barrel.

And, a few weeks ago, WTI was below $60. Funny how the market knows in advance. My holdings in big oil gained more, just on last Friday, than I paid for my car, new. The NBC evening "news" reported a lot of tankers are anchoring outside of the Persian Gulf, rather than run the gauntlet. The current Iraqi government is quite close to Iran. The news reported a huge mob tried to get at the US embassy in Baghdad today.
Meanwhile, here in Shinyland, the "news" covered flox of Iranian ex-pats, waving the old Imperial flag, the one with the lion on it, and cheering. I'm sure thee would be celebrations in Florida, if God on Earth Trump attacked Cuba too.
