The previous Gov, a "JC", started taxing pension income, to help pay for his two rounds of "JC" tax cuts.

The current Gov started phasing out the pension tax. This year, my entire IRA distribution is deductible. Yay!

We have a three way race for Gov this year. The former Mayor of Detroit, long a Dem, is running as an independent.

Current polling shows the Repub "winning", with only 34% of the vote, with 58% split between the Dem, and the former Dem.

The GOP candidate, again, is a "JC". My IRA distributions being deductible was nice while it lasted. James will, almost certainly, reimpose the pension tax, as well as cut more funding for counties, cities, education, road maintenance, because "job #1" for "JC" Govs, is always, more "JC" tax cuts.

Perry Johnson is also making another run for the GOP nomination. He is also a "JC". His big proposal is to eliminate the state income tax. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
