You think a 14-month-old puppy can tell the difference between a pheasant and a chicken?

Maybe, maybe not. But that's neither here nor there.

By the time a pup is a year old it should be well socialized and perform the basic commands, and fetch a scented 'bird.'

Noem didn't train her dog. If she had trained it she could have commanded it to sit/stay.

I don't give a damn if she lives on a ranch or in a downtown high rise.

Training is the owners responsibility. She didn't do it. It's her fault for being a lousy incompetent owner.
