For the folks who don't know what I am talking about, wrt Iranian flags.

This is the current Islamic Republic flag:

This is the Imperial flag, used when the Shah was in power. Crisp, new, copies are seen flying in the hands of Iranian ex-pats, who fled Iran during or since the revolution.

The Iranian women’s football national team REFUSED to sing the anthem of the Islamic regime.

Side note: By the time their next game comes up, they probably don’t even have to wear those hijabs anymore.

Or, maybe they will get the same treatment US football players do, when they "take a knee" in silent protest?

Dope’s link let to an interesting thread on Xitter. Keep scrolling thru it and you will run into some very phantasmagorical video clips.

Not saying the video clip Dope linked is AI. It was cool and I hope it’s not, but many of the subsequent clips were certainly AI.
