It also makes it trivial to make complex, ridiculous yet superficially plausible claims in seconds, that may take hours, days or weeks to disprove.

It can create excuses 1000x more easily than it replaces them. For example, a cheating student can generate an essay in a few seconds, but the cheating/plagiarism case against them by their examiner can take days of effort to prove the case and go through the processes.

Everywhere I look, I see modern LLMs do not remove friction, they add it.
