Living in California, it is sobering to realize how much more we pay than other states.
In the time of AI, a change is upon us. As AI becomes pervasive, reporting systems will become more centralized, accurate and responsive, making it harder and harder for stand alone electricity companies to justify or hide any price gouging, inefficiencies or lack of good governance. The intrisic ethical culture of BHE puts it in a strong position as a model of a utility doing the right things for the right reasons, while making a reasonable return. At least that's what I hope. Of course, there are the Peter Thiel's of the world who think homeostatis is the definition of stagnation and represents the anti-christ. Let's hope the Putin/Russian/Thiel models are not the ones that prevail.
