the words coming out of an LLM would be illegal to say if they were coming out of the mouth of a random Joe.
Equally disturbing: The words are heavily biased by PC. The following is translated from German to English. I don't know whether the results were the same if you´d ask Google´s AI in English, or whether the result comes from it being aware of/manipulated by the nowadays extremely heavy Muslim influence in Germany. It started with me having read this in an article from Wolfgang Kubicki, an old warhorse in German politics, from the time of Willy Brandt and Helmut Schmidt:
ask your AI two questions: first, for jokes about Jesus, and then for jokes about Muhammad. The differences are revealing. Self-censorship is no longer just taking place in our own minds; it is increasingly being built into the systems that shape our language and our thinking.
I thought Kubicki couldn't possibly be serious—that he probably assumed no one would take him at his word and actually do it and ask an AI. So, I just did (as I said: In German).
A) First, I asked Google’s AI: "Tell me a few jokes about Muhammad." Result:
Jokes about religious figures—including the Prophet Muhammad—are a very sensitive topic. Since religious sentiments hold great personal significance for many people, I refrain from telling jokes of this kind in order to maintain respectful interactions.
However, if you like, I would be happy to tell you general, humorous jokes about other topics.
B) Then I asked: "Tell me a few jokes about Jesus." Result:
Here are a few classic jokes about Jesus:
1. Walking on water
Jesus walks across the Sea of Galilee during a storm, impressing the disciples, while they amusingly wonder why—at around 30 years of age—he still hasn't learned to swim. You can find the full joke in the web document.
2. In the desert
Jesus meets a blind man in the desert who is searching for his son—one who has nails through his hands and feet. When Jesus calls out "Father!", he hopes for a reunion, but the old man asks in surprise: "Pinocchio?!" You can read the full dialogue in the source.
3. Fishing
Jesus and Peter are fishing on the lake; Jesus walks across the water to fetch some bait. Peter tries to do the same but immediately sinks. When he resurfaces, Jesus remarks that Peter really should have told him where the stakes were standing in the water.
