So Trump’s plan seems to be:

1. Establish an American Sovereign wealth Fund

2 use the US Treasury to buy up large amounts of crypto currencies, driving up the price.

3 Meanwhile, Trump, Don Jr, Elon and favored billionaires begin selling their cryptos as the price peaks,

4. John Q. Public is left holding a busload of rapidly depreciating cryptos

Steps 2 - 4 are only one possibility. An alternative:

2. Use the Treasury to make equity or financing investments in real estate deals in partnership with Trump and/or other oligarchs.
3. Meanwhile, Trump and/or oligarchs charge hefty fees for management.
4. Projects are mismanaged into bankruptcy, causing the Sovereign Wealth Fund to lose it's investment.
