Subject: Unfollow and Unignore

Out of curiosity what that '..[Star]..' might be in one of Manlobbi's posts I tried to click on it (No explanation required, I know already from one of Manlobbi's posts what it is).

As the icons are very(!) close together on my tablet I accidentally clicked on 😊: and was told that I now 'Follow' Manlobbi. As that was not intended I clicked again on it, hoping that's then 'Unfollow'. It's not, so I tried the icon close to it, 😞:, as it seemed to be the opposite. Big mistake as apparently this is 'Ignore'.

How to 'Unfollow' and 'Unignore'?


P.S.: Seems 'Unignore' I just found out: You still see posts of the respective poster and can unignore him if you open one of his posts. I still don't know how to 'Unfollow'.

Unless using a phone, you can hold the mouse/cursor over the star and it gives the explanation. It is very elegant as the number of tips on the star matches your Shrewdest-Star rating. This is simply the average number of recommendations throughout all your posts the last 12 months. (The Shrewdest-Star rating has to be at least 3 though to receive a star).

How to 'Unfollow' .. ?

Easy. To unfollow, you just click on any author's name. For example you can click on the author name when reading a post (or looking at the 'Followed Shrews' page). From the author's page it shows their post, their Shrewdness-Star rating, and includes the 'Unfollow' link right beside it.
