The groups use emojis next to members' names to denote specific roles. You've got mobile patrols driving around searching for federal vehicles. Foot patrols are working the streets. Dispatchers are running constant calls directing people where ICE has been spotted and how best to interfere with their operations. License plate checkers maintain databases of known federal vehicles. Even medics are standing by. They're running shift changes, clocking in and out, just like any organized operation.

No, Rev. Baloney, you don't have the right to actively interfere with a law enforcement operation.

You actually don't have the right to assist a fugitive in escaping law enforcement.

That's "aiding and abetting" and it's a crime. Former judge Dugan FAFO about that particular issue.

You don't have a right to carry a firearm with two extra ammo magazines into an LEO enforcement operation, actively interfere with said operation, disobey LEO's orders to stand down, and then actively resist by wresting with 4 or 5 of the LEO's.

Concealed Carry is exactly that. You can carry a concealed weapon.

But if you inject yourself into an LEO enforcement operation you do so at your own risk. It's a deadly weapon and anyone who does what Pretti Boi did is reckless and obviously should never have been given a CCW license.

If you are lawfully in possession of a concealed handgun and are stopped by the police at a traffic stop, anyone other than a complete idiot knows to keep their hands clearly visible on the steering wheel and immediately advise the officer that you are a licensed firearms holder in possession of same and respectfully request the LEO's directions as to what you should do or not do. And then you follow those directions to a "T."

Including if the LEO requires you to relinquish possession of the weapon.ESPECIALLY if given those instructions. Including if the officer instructs you to exit your vehicle and lie face down prostrate on the ground with your hands visible and outstretched.

You do not argue. You do not resist. You do not act in such a way as to place the LEO in fear of death or serious physical injury to themselves or others.

How divorced from reality is a person who believes that a citizen lawfully carrying a concealed deadly weapon has MORE FREEDOM than an unarmed person in such a situation.

You have NO FREEDOM. The ONLY use you can make of your lawfully carried weapon is if YOU are in a situation facing death or serious physical injury and need to draw the weapon to use it to kill someone who is trying to take your life with deadly physical force.

That's NOT freedom.

It's RESPONSIBILITY. Which Pretti Boi did not have, nor did he have any common sense.

And yet, the more you post, the more it seems you are living in a completely delusional fantasy world.

Where you can play semantic games and satisfy yourself and your brethren on the internet that you are "right." You "won the debate."

It bespeaks an almost total lack of any connection to reality.

Being on a very local chat group that tracks ICE is not a crime, and they have a constitutional right to assembly.

Do I have to draw you attention to the Right to Carry in the 2nd amendment? His carrying a gun means nothing, since he's licensed.

The claim of two extra mags is tracked down to a tweet from someone in the Admin. Besides, CCW folk say carrying two extra mags is normal and most of them on reddit said they carried extra, not for the firepower, because of malfunctions.

Not to mention that it wasn’t many moons ago that the right was insistent on the right to carry high capacity magazines. In any event, carrying extra magazines is pretty common among those who carry pistols.

God how the voices of all those gun rights folks are shouting in my memory.

My guess? Alex was an ICU nurse who worked at the VA. Like most medical workers, he probably worked long shifts, either going to work or getting off at odd hours. He most likely carried for personal protection.
