US military tells Hamas to stop violence against Gaza civilians, disarm 'without delay'
(Reuters) -The U.S. military's Middle East command on Wednesday called on Hamas to stop its violence against civilians in Gaza and disarm "without delay" as the militant group reasserts itself by deploying security forces and executing those it deems collaborators with Israel.
"We strongly urge Hamas to immediately suspend violence and shooting at innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza," Commander Brad Cooper, head of the U.S. military's CENTCOM, said in a statement.https://currently.att.yahoo.com/news/articles/us-m...Why would the US military be making such a statement, unless Lord Trump has lined up our guys to fight Israel's war, for it, again?

Why would the US military be making such a statement, unless Lord Trump has lined up our guys to fight Israel's war, for it, again?Probably because Trump (or Hegseth) told them to say it - which they would have done regardless of whether our guys have been lined up to fight there or not.
Again, bluster. Trump's not going to refrain from making threats merely because he has no intention of backing them up with boots on the ground.
No one's going to push back against Hamas reasserting control as Israel withdraws...unless the IDF does, and right now Netanyahu can't be seen to be the one to break Trump's Peace Prize dreams first. Theoretically the parties could move quickly on getting a Board of Peace and an international security team in place - but even at all deliberate speed that's a process of weeks, not days. Which gives Hamas plenty of time to decide, "Nah, we'd rather stay in charge here."

Hamas will do that for him. All the Pentagon said today was "We're the only thing stopping the IDF from smoking the rest of you".

Any idea about what the HAMAS ammo supply picture look like. They used a lot in their war with Israel. Are they being re-supplied by anyone? Are Iran and her proxies supply lines truly severed?

Following an extended military campaign, Hamas's established supply lines in Gaza have been heavily degraded but not fully severed, while routes outside of the strip remain active
. Smuggling continues through tunnels, and supply chains exist outside Gaza via Iran, Syria, and Lebanon.

Of course. Prior to 1948, Zionist terrorists, like future PM Menachem Begin, had several ways of smuggling/stealing weapons.

No clue, but I would imagine that they would have to have some level of re-supply (or really big stockpiles). If they were anywhere close to literally running out of ammo, you'd think the Israeli government would have proclaimed that fact in support of their continuing war effort, rather than allowing the narrative to build up that this was going to continue to be a long slog.
