pays the former president’s legal bills before the RNC gets a cut.Here's the order of how the donations flow:
1. The Trump campaign gets the maximum amount allowed under federal law.
2. The Save America PAC gets the second largest cut (again, the maximum amount allowed under federal law) but is barred from spending directly on Trump’s own campaign activities.
The group devoted 84% of its spending to Trump’s legal costs as of February.
3. If there's any money left, it next goes to the RNC.
4. On the off chance there's still anything remaining, it goes to state political parties.
The unorthodox diversion of funds to the Save America PAC makes it more likely that Republican donors could see their money go to Trump’s lawyers, who have received at least $76 million over the last two years to defend him against four felony indictments and multiple civil cases. Some Republicans are already troubled that Trump’s takeover of the RNC could shortchange the cash-strapped party. ... Is that actually legal? I don't know, I'm askin'. Seems that would be a misuse of campaign funds to me. I would think Trump would have to start a separate fund for his legal fees (either figuratively, or literally, a "GoFundMe"). Not tapping into the RNC war chest. Or I could be completely wrong about this.

It wasn't enough for Trump to destroy the Republican party at the federal level, but now he is going to do it at lower levels as well. All of those down ballot Republicans are going to be starved for cash because all of the suckers money is going to go to pay for Trump's legal bills. The RNC already started reducing headcount in order to save money when this is the time of year they should be increasing headcount in order to prepare for the upcoming elections.

there are a plethora of state races to see who is most unhinged AND trump's best friend. hiding behind a 'mom' label seems to be the rage.
ads originating in NC feature the worst candidate in state history for governor (quite an achievement...hiding racism behind himself being a minority). but wait, NC has even a less qualified 'concerned mom' running for superintendent of public education. of course she homeschools her children, has previously been endorsed by Moms for Liberty, and was a Jan6 tourist.
