I am not as concerned as many here for a few reasons.

My experience has been that those with radical religious views ingrained in them from childhood are often very rational in other areas of their life. Mitt Romney is an example of this.

While Johnson was a trump acolyte he has little legislative history; we don't really know what he will do. He has completely backtracked on his "election denialism", so there is hope there. Biden has said he is not concerned about what will happen when Trump loses. We do know Johnson would want a nationwide 15 week abortion ban. He will push for a more fiscally conservative federal budget. However, he also appears to be a "get along" kind of guy so perhaps he has a chance of developing some bipartisan legislation that can get through the senate. Jim Jordan was clearly a hardliner unwilling to compromise; we do not know yet what Johnson will do, but he has said he plans to delegate more than previous speakers.

I am taking a wait and see attitude right now. Johnson may not let his personal hard right beliefs get in the way of good governance.
