Hey K..... Thanks for checking in on me man It’s bad…. We lost all our probationary employees a few weeks ago
I lost 1 out of 2 trainees Monday is the return to office for everyone.
And we are anticipating bad news

Not sure how they will do the RIF. If they follow the normal RIF procedures, I’m probably safe. If they just randomly cut departments and groups, it’s a different story. Management knows nothing.

There’s also talk of basically consolidating all the offices
The offices projected to close include San Marcos, Santa Ana, San Bernardino, & Glendale (my POD). They might just force us to work from the federal building. But I don’t even know who will survive or what work environment we will be in

Every Monday we have to email Elon our 5 accomplishments from the previous week

Me: So it's doom and gloom there at this point. I would think much of the government is similar. We're screwed, it will take years to recover. I'm reading they want to cut 50% of the staff.

It's free for all time for tax cheats and non-payers time. And that's the object.

The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is considering letting go up to half of its approximately 90,000 employees, a source with knowledge of the situation told AFP on Tuesday.

The bloodbath would be the latest drastic cut to a federal agency under President Donald Trump's administration.

When asked about US press reports of the plans to halve the IRS headcount, the source confirmed such a project was being discussed internally.

Since no one likes the IRS there will be joy in Mudville, but if you were concerned about fraud, waste, and abuse - it'll get much worse. And they want to coopt the few CID Agents there are to rousting out illegals. Criminals are getting the green light.

I don't think MAGA understood what they were getting into. But, in general, they are getting what they wanted, which is to burn down the USA and blame it on whatever version of "libs" they have in their minds. So fraud, waste, and abuse will go up, not down - doncha just feel owned? The world is going to hell and the USA is leading the charge!

Keep your morals and ethics intact, we have to try and lead the USA back to a path forward in 4 years. I may be dead by then though - counting on the rest of you.

Too bad I'm not in the game anymore.

It's a good time to be aggressive at making sure the mooches don't get their hands on money that's not theirs.

Oh the tax fun that I could've been having.
