I don't know what country you are from, PucksFool,

But here in America, we don't keep citizens from leaving if they want to.

You seem rather confused.

Preventing illegal immigration by non-citizens (i.e. preventing non-citizens from illegally entering into, or illegally remaining, in our country) is not the same as, nor does it imply, that we would also want to prevent citizens from legally emigrating to any other country they want to.

Logic was never the left's strong suit.
