Manlobbi, can we perhaps get this tread expunged? The jackboot overtones are getting a little thick.

Every generation or two, someone new discovers how much money and power you can garner by selling whoppers. Winding it back is like mopping latrines: no fun, and thankless slow work, but it's a job that has to be done. Here, too.

In other news, I saw a good quote the other day, from Matt Haig's book.
"She realized that you could be as honest as possible in life, but people only see the truth if it is close enough to their reality"
Hilariously, it's a sentiment that the conspiracy theory nuts can endorse as much as the people trying to bring the nuts back to the real world.
