Maybe 20 yrs ago I had an older doctor, internal med, but due to insurance had to find a new one. Then years later I went back to him and his single dr practice. When I mentioned a test my cardio dr did yearly he said "that is corporation medicine for you".

Sadly I got the email I knew was coming and he is finally retiting at age 74. He certainly was more detailed and accurate than my cardio doctor. He mentioned just the overhead was nearly $300,000 a year when I asked about cutting back the hrs.

While the tech has improved greatly in medicine, the quality and availability of care hasbeen regressing.
