The Pentagon said Friday it will end military education programs with Harvard starting the 2026-27 academic year, allowing current students to finish their courses.

Citing campus protests and ideological disputes, the Pentagon said Harvard 'no longer meets the needs of the War Department' and accused officers of returning with 'heads full of globalist and radical ideologies'.

Harvard has sued the administration, and federal judges issued orders siding with the university, while the White House sought $1 billion in damages.

The Pentagon said it will evaluate similar graduate programs at other Ivy League universities and pivot toward public universities and internal military programs, while active-duty service members lose access to new Harvard fellowships.

With roots stretching to the Revolutionary War, Harvard's military links mark a symbolic break amid the Trump administration's prolonged standoff and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s protest, as Harvard challenges the move in court.

Harvard, if you insist on education not indoctrination, Trump has no use for you.
