The Associated Press reported that government prosecutors told a judge that the U.S. plans to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a country other than El Salvador after he is released from a Tennessee jail.
Abigail Jackson, Deputy Press Secretary at the White House, called the reporting "fake news": Abrego Garcia was returned to the United States to face trial for the egregious charges against him. He will face the full force of the American justice system -- including serving time in American prison for the crimes he's committed.

I love this country because it protects me and respects my rights (and those of others). And, frankly, that's the only reason. If it didn't do either of those things, there would be nothing to love**. Someone who has had to escape totalitarianism would understand***. Under the Felon, neither is guaranteed to me. Rule of law is not respected, due process is not respected. The Felon is killing what made America great.
Therefore, if you love the Felon, you HATE America and what it stands for. (Or stood for...past tense.)

I once knew a fellow who had lived in a Russian dominated state in Eastern Europe. I think it was Czechoslovakia, but not sure. He had been a psychotherapist there, and he said the most chilling thing was he would have workers who had worked next to someone for 20 years, and one day they were gone. When they inquired about their workmate they were simply told not to ask, but they never saw their workmate again. How could you treat someone who that happened to? What could you say?
Then he told me one day a friend of his told him that the borders were open temporarily and anyone could leave by driving across the border. This was a border with high fences, barbed wire, machine gunned manned guard towers, and a road stretching across a no man's land to the guard station on the other side. He went upstairs, got his wife, and they drove across the border. They didn't take time to pack anything, just got in the car and drove. They spent months in a refugee camp but it was worth it, he told me, as we both drank a beer sitting by the pool after a set of water volley ball in sunny Southern California.

Disliking the Trump policies is one thing, you can debate pros and cons to sway the other’s point of view, even in a heated argument and still come out with your opinion intact.
On the other hand President Trump (or any other president) holds the highest duly elected
Office in America. He/she represents America and the Free World and the President should be given
a degree of respect, even while disliking the president.

The person from the USSR that I knew, his family had an elaborate escape route. I think he was Lithuanian, as I recall. They traveled legitimately, but had to go to one country that would allow them, then another country that would allow them from that second country, and so on...I don't remember if it was 3 steps, or 4, or 5. But his family ended up in Austria, I think. And they never went back.

Have you ever looked at his Twitter feed or watched one of his press conferences and seen how he comports himself and talks about others, particularly those who disagree with him, and the juvenile nicknames he gives them? He acts like a 6th-grade bully.
When have we ever had a President who treated people the way he does? When he respects the office of the Presidency and the people he represents and who work hard every day to try to make this country and world a better place--even if you disagree with their path to doing so--and acts in a Presidential and respectful manner toward others, he will get the respect due the office. (Maybe--at this point, he's already done so much damage and disrespected enough people that he probably wouldn't get it even then at this point. But if he'd started that way....)
