'Majority of New Yorkers worry migrant crisis will 'destroy' NYC as some sour on Biden in new Siena poll'

Snip
' New Yorkers are increasingly concerned about the flood of undocumented immigrants arriving in the city and are souring on President Biden with a year to go before the 2024 election, a new poll revealed Tuesday.

A large and growing majority of New Yorkers say the migrants pose a 'serious problem' and 58% agree with Mayor Adams' statement made last month that crisis could 'destroy New York City,' a new Siena College poll of voters found.

'Seldom do we see an issue where at least 79% of Democrats, Republicans, independents, men, women, upstaters, downstaters, Blacks, whites, Latinos, Catholics, Jews, and Protestants all agree: the migrant influx is a serious problem,' pollster David Greenberg said.

Biden slumps to new lows in the poll, which said 52% of New Yorkers disapprove of the job he's doing and just 45% approve.'

Gee, you didn't bold this from that new Siena poll: Biden leads former President Trump 46-37% in a head-to-head matchup.

You left out this part and didn't bold..

The Democratic president leads former President Donald Trump by an anemic 46%-to-37% margin in deep blue New York, compared to a 20-point edge just last month.

Biden's edge over Trump is even narrower, just 7%, when voters are given the options of independent candidates Robert F. Kennedy and Cornel West.

Biden only beating by Trump by 7 in New York City means he's getting plastered in the rural areas and probably is in deep trouble in the suburbs. Not that polls means a lot now, but this should be bright red flashing light for the dems.

Maybe it'w because the New Yorkers and their Mayor are so racist and anti-immigrant.

Someone tell those citizens of a dirty, filthy, crime ridden city that happens to have Wall Street, that diversity is a strength.

Stop being an anti immigrant city.

Either way, they are getting as they deserve.

World's city my foot.

Yeah, the dilemma for the Dems is what to do about? There is really only one play in their playbook. There are just NO new or interesting ways you can express your hate for Donald Trump and that he ruined the country so bad, we Dems can's fix it, so don't ask.

And even that isn't a great argument. With Trump we had $2 dollar gas, low inflation, a functioning supply chain, a border that wasn't out of control and hadn't had people hanging on to US airplanes as we bailed on them.

And oh, yeah. The world wasn't on fire back then. Now it is. That's the bottom line that all the Weekend At Biden's apologists here can't refute.

Dope1: With Trump we had $2 dollar gas, low inflation, a functioning supply chain, a border that wasn't out of control...

Right. And to get those things we only had to have a couple thousand Americans die every day.

Funny, isn't it, that gasoline prices declined when 20 million American workers were laid off and tens of millions more Americans worked from home... not to mention millions more around the world on lockdown and not driving.

And funny, too, that when people don't work or are afraid of losing their jobs -- or dying -- that they tend not to spend money, keeping inflation low.

Did you say a functioning supply chain? Right. There weren't shortages of masks, ventilators, gloves, toilet paper, bleach, hand sanitizer, lumber, automobiles, semiconductors, home appliances, pet food, diapers, breakfast cereals, clothes, chemicals, and more.

And sure, no one was trying to cross the border into a country that was watching 2,000 of its citizens die every day, with freezer trucks lined up in cities to store dead bodies because the morgues were overflowing, and hospitals turning away patients or lining their hallways with beds because of a mismanaged pandemic. Helluva' border policy.

Ah, TrumpWorld, where nothing bad ever happens and if it does, cultists simply don't remember it or it's someone else's fault.

"Right. And to get those things we only had to have a couple thousand Americans die every day."funn
Its not funny having these people dying every day from the Fentynal deaths because of the open drug border.

"Funny, isn't it, that gasoline prices declined when 20 million American workers were laid off and tens of millions more Americans worked from home... not to mention millions more around the world on lockdown and not driving."

And funny when we had lots of oil in the Petroleum reserve .

"And funny, too, that when people don't work or are afraid of losing their jobs -- or dying -- that they tend not to spend money, keeping inflation low.

And even funnier when peoples jobs were not being replaced by lower waged individuals here illegally.

"There weren't shortages of masks, ventilators, gloves, toilet paper, bleach, hand sanitizer, lumber, automobiles, semiconductors, home appliances, pet food, diapers, breakfast cereals, clothes, chemicals, and more."

You're right there weren't.

" And sure, no one was trying to cross the border into a country that was watching 2,000 of its citizens die every day, with freezer trucks lined up in cities to store dead bodies because the morgues were overflowing, and hospitals turning away patients or lining their hallways with beds because of a mismanaged pandemic. Helluva' border policy.

And sure, we kind of knew who was coming into our country and hopefully were weeding out the bad actors who have the potential to do tremendous more harm to our country more than anything we have ever seen on our soil in our history.

"Ah, TrumpWorld, where nothing bad ever happens and if it does, cultists simply don't remember it or it's someone else's fault."

Childish blather .

The supply chain worked....until the pandemic lockdown affected countries around the globe. And then the supply chain fell apart. In so many ways large and small. And this was under Trump. How in the world could you have forgotten this?

And you also seem to have forgotten that the world most certainly was already on fire. And had been for some time.....getting worse, and worse, and worse. And worse. And Trump blamed at least some of terrible fires in California on bad foresting practices, and told them what they should be doing. (And many shook their heads and laughed at his self-importance and ignorance.)

Thanks to Open Borders Joe, we've got fentanyl in pizza parlors in New York.

Sure you want to play this game?

Funny, isn't it, that gasoline prices declined when 20 million American

Oh, you mean when dullard blue states shut down their economies? Actually, I wasn't thinking about that. I was thinking pre-COVID:

https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=42....

U.S. regular retail gasoline prices averaged $2.60 per gallon (gal) in 2019, 11 cents/gal (4%) lower than in 2018.

Ooops. Change your name to pinataone. It's kinda necessary if you're going to hang these silly, mendaciously dishonest posts up there for anyone to come along and bash. Problem is that's not candy that spills out.

What, pray tell, is gas right now? $3.57 a gallon.

Sure you want to play this game?

And let's do inflation:
https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2020/consumer-price-i...
From 2018 to 2019, consumer prices for all items rose 2.3 percent. Over that period, food prices increased 1.8 percent, a slightly larger percentage increase than the 12-month increase of 1.6 percent in 2018. Food at home prices increased 0.7 percent in 2019, continuing a trend of modest increases, as prices rose 0.6 percent in 2018 and 0.9 percent in 2017.

The horror! Food up 1.8%!!!! Now let's do Biden.
https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2023/consumer-price-i...
Consumer prices for all items rose 6.5 percent from December 2021 to December 2022. Food prices increased 10.4 percent, reflecting an 11.8-percent increase in prices for food at home and an 8.3-percent increase in prices for food away from home.

Womp womp womp womp....wommmmmmmmp.

Run along, now. You're really bad at playing this game.

I haven't. What you don't remember is that even after COVID things were still screwed up.

And you also seem to have forgotten that the world most certainly was already on fire.

Lulz. After your guy Obama let ISIS take over vast swaths of territory, they were destroyed and we got the Abraham Accords.

And we didn't have rocket fire on our destroyers and our troops being bombed by drones to the degree we've got now. You're forgiven for not knowing that, given that the news media doesn't like to point out that Iran's proxies are openly attacking US forces and Biden isn't doing anything about it.

Whoops. You're not any better at this than ChatNPC, the pinata guy.

You're from New York, right? Better not get any pizza there. They mix drugs right with the dough, I hear.

NYT wants pay to read this article, but did catch the title or perhaps part of it,
'How The World Ran Out Of Everything'

LOL,LOL,LOL....You get to excuse Biden's America has been falling apart under his watch because of the pandemic? Towards the end of the Trump term he had the very same problem. It was worse though for Trump. In the beginning the World was not prepared for a pandemic and chaos was happening worldwide.

Three years later under Biden just about every aspect of the American way of life has gone downhill.
This is Biden's economy, not Trumps. High gas and food prices, supply shortages everywhere. The list goes on.

What a pathetic sad story you gave to give an excuse, any excuse for Biden's failures as President.
