Rectifying it (by proper methods)---would help all Americans, and would help Red State Americans more than putting a woman in jail for an abortion.

Two things

1.)The day comes when Americans are in the Hunger Games and desperate.

2.)Democrats lay off the "we love illegals" and pronoun stuff.


And when that happens - all the "Trump will never be President" stuff we laugh at.....will be the SAME for the Progressives on the Left.

Fix it while you can.

PS: I said in the 90'S THAT newt and Bush were full of shit on trade and immigration, and changing course would WIN FOR THE GOP...Y'all decide if that came true. I said that opposing gay marriage---was silly in 2012 during Romney v Obama and now look -- it's the law of the land. Decide if I was right.

I'd be interested in the "proper methods".

However, the right is married to either obsolete ideologies, or ideologies that have been proven not to work. They really can't change course because it's a religion to them (and, in many cases, because of actual religion...like abortion). Cutting taxes because of the Laffer Curve hasn't worked, and will continue not to work. But the Reps insist it will work, and cut taxes more. (What's the definition of "insanity"? Repeating the same action expecting a different result.)

And then all of this is contorted with "news" that isn't really news. It's propaganda. Propaganda that feeds some people's biases, leading to confirmation bias, and no one is really properly informed. This is made even worse by generative AI that could produce convincing videos of, for example, Bernie Sanders spewing an antisemitic rant. The people who control that (the ones Carlin called "the owners") will end up controlling society, ala 1984.

I'm not sure how to stop it. It's like a slow-motion trainwreck that I can see coming.

Can you please, PLEASE make a coherent point once in a while?
