That ‘s where you are completely wrong. The only thing they have in common is the name “democrats”.
The Confederacy’s policies and platforms have been adopted by today’s Republicans, and most especially by MAGA.
This is at the heart of your willful blindness.

So true!
Conservatives (MAGA) are the folks who brought us the KKK and slavery and Jim Crowe and the Southern Strategy and strict voter ID requirements, and the purging of voter rolls,
and lies about Haitian immigrants and nazi salutes etc, etc.
Heck, Donald Trump was endorsed twice by former KKK leader David Duke and by the "Crusader" the official newspaper of the KKK.

Yeah, but look at all the racism and antisemitism we’ve seen on FOX and youtube videos that Democrats (well…. Some democrats….well, make that a few Democrats) have shown.
Don’t look at the fact that Republicans have declared war on black and brown immigrants and are currently making war on our election system in an effort to reduce the number of female voters and voters of color.
They do it out in the open while trying to accuse others of doing what they are doing.
How can they get away with it? By telling you that shit sandwiches are in fact one of the pillars of sound nutrition.
“Integrity of the vote?”
My ass. When you hear that term, think…… “shit sandwich”.
Cause that’s exactly what it is.

Much like the forefathers of today's democrats who expressed their displeasure with the federal government via cannon fire at Fort Sumpter, today's version sets ambushes to try and kill ICE officers. Violence is the way.

Confederacy May Yet Win Civil WarThere's a saying: The North won the Civil War, but lost the Reconstruction.
https://thereconstructionera.com/https://www.facebook.com/thereconstructionerablogOne paragraph:
Signs have gone up at National Parks across the country warning visitors that there may be interpretive plaques or information from Rangers that may be “negative about either past or living Americans.” The sign has a QR Code on it which can be used with a cell phone to report the offending information to the higher-ups within the National Park Service (NPS) and the Interior Department. A recent report from the Washington Post indicates that visitors who use the QR Code have not been reporting on bad behavior at the Parks, but instead use it to praise the Park staff and to laud the interpretation at the parks.

And I suppose this “understanding of economics” likewise explains why Republicans have destroyed unions, been against things like paid family leave and dismantle agencies that enforce worker safety?
Or is it what it obviously is: protecting exorbitant executive salaries and shareholder value?
Workers have lost significant ground since Reagan declared open season on them in 1981.

So who hires these “near-zero wage slaves” to do the work for them? That would be Republican farmers.
And who fights the hardest against raising the minimum wage because less people would find work and it goes against the free market? That would be Republican politicians.
And who wants to make an exception to deporting illegal immigrants if they work on farms? That would be Republican Trump.
And, when we paid farm laborers more, who would whine the loudest when food prices rose precipitously? The poorer rural Republicans.
And who would be the first to ask for huge government handouts (you know, socialism) when they couldn’t stay in business because of high labor costs? Small Republican farmers.
I say let’s hire Americans to pick our food and pay them $40k per year plus benefits and then see who screams the loudest about it.

I guess everyone in California is a Democrat.
Except for the over 6 million Californians voted for Trump.
Every drive through farm country in California? I have. Every time we visit our grandchildren, we drive back and forth between Burbank and San Francisco. Most of the drive is straight through the middle of California where the only thing you see are farms. Farms, and tons of MAGA/Trump signs along with a smattering of anti-Newsome signs. The central California farms are deep red Republicans.
And California farmers are seeing a great way to make some money growing legal weed. So yes, even in California, those minors picking weed are hired by Republicans.

Who do you think uses undocumented and illegal laborers? Republican farmers!!! LOL. Why do you think Trump said ICE shouldn’t go after farm workers because, and I quote, “we have to take care of our farmers.” Apparently, Trump was afraid big farm $ wouldn’t keep coming his way.

I saw a brief clip of some protester running away a firing a gun. I haven’t seen one reputable news source saying he was Antifa. He acted like he was crazy firing a gun into a crowd. I hope they find him and throw the book at him, regardless of his politics.

No. The difference between us is that you're operating completely from the emotional centers of your brain as your logic circuits died years ago. According to California public campaign finance records, he also donated $10,000 to California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2018, and his most recent public political donation was to California Democratic Assemblymember Gregg Hart in July 2023.
