I miss being an almost 1%'er like back in the day, but I also am fine without the constant vilifying of business and profits, and also these days....all the H.R nonsense with the they/them workforce.
Topped $15,000 in Health Insurance subsidies for 2022.
It was more than the $8000 I thought I would be getting.
So the big dilemma: Treasury for 5.5%, or a surprise Fort Laud trip for family.
Ugh, kids are getting older and eventually they gonna ask how we do these things with neither parent working. I put up a big facade about managing investment properties (which is seeing monthly deposits come in from my property manager) and going out to look at rehab-housing opportunities. That part is true - though 15 offers last year and I didn't get one. So usually when out looking at properties, it merely means I'm in my gas guzzler, having 2 cheese slices and fountain soda for under 8 bucks and goofing off on the laptop.
Oh well.
