" Do you know what the fallacy of affirming the consequent means?
Hint: that is a fine example."

" The fallacy of affirming the consequent is a formal logical fallacy that occurs when one assumes that if 'P implies Q' is true, and 'Q' is true, then 'P' must also be true. This reasoning is flawed because there may be other reasons for 'Q' to be true. For example, if it is stated that "If it rains, the ground will be wet" (P implies Q), and the ground is wet (Q), it does not necessarily mean that it rained"

Sounds like high grade bullsh$t to me old bud, but priceless.
