This analysis reports the details of BYD’s path into Europe with a mass selling car.

They want to overtake Tesla by 2024 and triple current sales there by mid 2025. They are only getting stated, with MG dominating the market.

BYD reports being confident about taking a large market position in Europe. They have a plant in Hungary.

BYD was reported as Seagull coming to Europe but that story was misreporting what BYD actually said. Their European low priced car hasn’t yet been announced. But this analyst expects it to be slightly more premium and guesses 18K euro.
