So much for the “everybody else will just wait” hot take.This isn't much of a surprise. The UK is one of the countries that we run a trade
surplus with. It's the easiest to reach a deal on, because there's nothing we're demanding of them. In fact, by Trump's logic, we're obviously treating
them unfairly. It's an "ordinary" trade deal - and one that's been in negotiations since Brexit, when they went out from under agreements with the EU:
