Even Homan was against mass ethnic cleansing, at one time.

Homan once warned against sweeping immigration enforcement raids

In a June interview for “Undue Process: The Inside Story of Trump’s Mass Deportation Program,” by NBC News’s Julia Ainsley, Homan said “the vast majority of the American people think criminal illegal aliens need to leave.”

“And if we stick to that prioritization, I think we keep the faith of the American people,” he added. “And I think the more we do that, the more the American people will support what President Trump’s doing. We got to do it and we’ve got to do it in a humane manner.”

I would think most people would agree with what Homan was saying, previously. Most people should probably support a secure border and removal of people in the country illegally, and, especially, removal of the criminal element.

But that isn't what is happening. What is happening is ethnic cleansing, grabbing everyone with brown skin. In the most racist parts of the country, like Alabama and West Virginia, there is no pushback to brown people being beaten and hauled away, because that is what the white residents want. In areas where the locals do not approve of ethnic cleansing and racial profiling, there is conflict. Building trades representatives in the article in the OP say everyone at a job site is grabbed and thrown in a lockup. Those here legally sit in the lockup for weeks, before they are allowed to present their papers to a judge to prove they are in the US legally. Same thing in an article posted a few days ago, quoting a Minnesota judge, saying the majority of people ICE brings before him are in the country legally.
