__personal opinion on brookfield nuclear power edges__
political edge : mark carney
technology edge : AP1000-type historical track record and # successful global deployments
cost edge : probably only to anyone that gets scale\numbers
manpower edge : probably top 2; excluding russia, china
homecountry edge : US, Canada

am always wondering what will be the next philips\asml kind of scenario, where a spinoff turned into 1000X the parent.
for anyone successful at overcoming the MOSTLY political obstacles, the SMR business could end up 100-1000X the current brookfield stake in westinghouse.
and they would just need to be a scaled business in North America to keep them busy for decades.
