I have heard that before....just attack the ideas.

Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) asked if the president would have him continue to serve as chair of the Council of Economic Advisers if Miran didn't vote the way the president wanted.

"I do not know the inside of anyone else's mind," Miran said. "What I can tell you is that if I am confirmed in the Federal Reserve, I will act independently based on my own independent analysis of the economy and climate policy."

Ideas with no merit, first, he did not answer the question, he deflected. Second, he does not act independently with sound judgment. Third, his analysis of the economy is completely flawed from what we are seeing out of this administration. Fourth, how did climate policy get into this?

That is a lie. I have worked for people like *him*. You learn very fast what he wants to hear, and what he does not want to hear, or you're gone, like the head of the CDC.
