Please excuse me for posting an OT post, but I know there are many (Ex)Coders and IT guys like myself on this board, therefore no community is better suited to evaluate this I just read in "The Economist":

And no, it isn't an 1.April joke, as I thought after reading half of it, looking at the top and finding "The Economist" published it 23.April.

Please excuse my words, but this is fucking unbelievable and the scariest thing I've heard since a long time. Either the journalist was totally drunk --- or Arnie is at the gates.

Geoffrey Hinton posed such concerns - AI not divulging information that it may have. I believe some of that is in the following interview. It was for 60 minutes so highly digestible for a lay audience.
