We are about a month away from the end of the year, but close enough for me to report on my achievement or lack there of. I actually did pretty well. It turns out that 1 out of every 5 books this year was from my TBR list. I set too high a goal. I did it intentionally to keep reminding me to go back to my TBR list. I am happy with the dent I made in the list. Unfortunately though the list grew by considerably more books than I removed from it. I'll try to do better next year.

So, those numbers, what do they refer to? The Ultimate Book of Golf, 100 Greatest Books Ever Written or Functions of a Complex Variable? Or, The Toolache Wallaby, The Toltec Savior, or Awakening the Faithful??? Perhaps something altogether different? Patriot Pirates?
I am rereading the play, Hedda Gabler, because i just saw a most wonderful movie based on it, Hedda, with Tessa Thompson. Two salient lessons, among many: Don't count your chickens before they hatch and never hang with anyone with brains and energy but lacks ethics.
