No, the troops aren't helping people cross illegally. In fact, Dems oppose the troops even being there, calling it "unacceptable". Just because they aren't shooting everyone doesn't mean they are helping them cross. - 1pg

Semantics. Labor is fungible. The troops are handing back office paperwork freeing up Border Control to "help' (meaning register and hand out welcome wagon goodie bags) border runners who cross.
