BREAKING: Hardcore MAGA Congresswoman Nancy Mace gets caught in a deeply humiliating scandal as it's revealed that she ordered her staffers to create fake online accounts to praise her.

And it gets so much more pathetic...

"We had to make multiple accounts, burner accounts, and go and reply to comments, saying things that weren't true—even Reddit forums," a former staffer told Wired. "We were congressional staff, and there were actual things we could be doing to help the constituents."

Several former staffers spoke to Wired, and they stated that Mace made them create "burner accounts on a variety of social media platforms to monitor what people were saying about her and bolster her image." Mace herself also created accounts and used them to monitor online chatter about herself.

In a desperate attempt at damage control, Mace's Communications Director Sydney Long stated that ordering staffers to create such accounts "would be a slap in the face to taxpayers across the country."

"The only relationship the Congresswoman cares about is her one with South Carolina. She is married to her job and that is all the media should care about," Long added, although she didn't outright deny the allegations.
The former staffers also revealed that Mace's claim to be a "self-taught coder" is likely a fabrication.

"I never saw her coding sh*t. Ever," one said. "But, I mean, she'd talk about tech a lot."

If these allegations are true — and they certainly appear to be — than Mace is one of the most useless elected representatives in this country. When she's not creating fake accounts to talk about herself, she's ranting about innocent transgender people and pulling publicity stunts to garner attention for herself. She's a self-centered egomaniac and her constituents would be wise to vote her out at the first opportunity.

well, she doesn't either once the publicity did not garner enough traction.

along w/lauren and marjorie, they occupy a niche role as jesters in a gop with misogyny as a brand pillar.
and they are happy to reinforce such as deserved with every action.

Disagree. These people wear “humiliating scandal” like a badge of honor, crying “See, I told you they were out to get me!” The actual facts of the situation are irrelevant, you can count on Fox & similar to either ignore it entirely, or spin it in a way that makes her the victim of the liberal intelligentsia.
